Netflix’s The Ultimatum is back. Season 4 hit Netflix on 15th July with the first eight episodes, following six Las Vegas-based couples as they decide whether they’re going to commit, quit, or maybe even couple up with someone else. We won’t know for sure what everyone decides until the finale (and reunion special!) drops next week on 22nd July, but if you need a refresher (or simply want some spoilers...), here is where everyone stands.
Say what you will about ultimatums, but of all the Netflix reality dating shows, The Ultimatum may have one of the best track records. In its three-season run, a whopping 11 couples have ended up staying together after appearing on the series (and that’s not even counting the success stories from The Ultimatum: Queer Love, which resulted in five engagements over two seasons).
Now let’s review who’s still together going into the season 4 finale, shall we?
Killian and Ashley
Relationship status: Still together
These two didn’t even wait until their trial marriages were over to get back together. Killian’s trial partner Hayley ended up catching him with Ashley not long after the experiment began…and also sending some questionable messages to friends. Hayley and Blake even tried to warn Ashley about him, but as of now, she and Killian are sticking it out.
Luke and Monica
Relationship status: Still together
After their partner-swap experience with Casey and David, Luke and Monica seem stronger than ever. Perhaps there is hope for these two?
Blake and Hayley
Relationship status: Still together
Though the whole mess with Killian and Ashley didn’t seem to drive a wedge between these two, the latest episode saw Blake and Hayley bickering over old issues…but as of now, they’re still together.
David and Casey
Relationship status: Still together
Just like their trial partners Monica and Luke, these two came back together refreshed and ready to better communicate. Things are looking good!
Edris and Jessica Grace
Relationship status: Engaged
Fans didn’t even have to wait until the finale to see the first engagement. Edris ended up popping the question at The Choice before they even got to the trial marriages stage of the experiment — and thankfully, Jessica Grace said yes!
Jebin and Alex
Relationship status: Broken up
Jebin and Alex also ended their experience early, but for a very different reason than Edris and Jessica Grace. These two actually became the first couple in the history of The Ultimatum to get booted off the show after Jebin attempted to communicate with Alex through a handwritten note, in which he told her, “There is no way we are getting married,” among other things. Yiiiikes.
