Love Island 2026 is only three weeks in, but we're already struggling to keep up with the recoupling, love triangles and drama going on in the villa right now. Who actually likes who? How many Islanders have kissed people they're not in a couple with? And will Lorenzo ever make up his mind?
Given there's still multiple weeks - and probably Casa Amor - to go, we're not willing to put our money on any of the couples in there just yet. But still, who exactly is looking compatible in the villa right now, and who is just biding their time before a better match comes in? We've ranked the couples based on how compatible we think they are, from the strongest to the weakest.
Love Island couples ranked from strongest to weakest
Sean and Lola
Of all the couples in the villa right now, Sean and Lola are probably the only ones without wandering eyes. He wasn't a huge fan of her comments about needing a man to make more money than her, but they are exclusive, so hopefully Casa Amor wouldn't be a match for them. Famous last words... *cough* Dami and Indiyah during the 2022 season *cough*
Angelista and Simba
It's was all going so well for Angelista and Simba, before he admitted he wanted to spend a night with Mica in the Hideaway, and the pair shared a kiss. Not ideal. But he's been trying to make it up to her, and given the way he swept Ang of her feet (and out of the hands of Ope), we think he might be just fine.
Jasmine and Kavan
Kavan kicked things off in last night's episode [22nd June] by telling his brother he wanted to rope things off with Jasmine and make things official. After being swayed not to, with the boys insisting he was rushing things, he might live to regret his decision - she seemed to get the ick a little bit after his threesome confession.
Ellie and Finley
Has anyone actually heard Finley speak yet? Hello? Anybody in there?
Lorenzo and Yasmin
Never has a man been such a fan of the chase, and so disinterested in his current relationship. Fans were convinced that Lorenzo was playing a major game when he replies to Yasmin questioning "do you feel good about us?" with "I do actually. It feels a bit weird. I preferred it before, when it was chaos going on. Being on, I actually... that's how I like it. I think you should [give me chaos.]"
Chaos? Who needs chaos when you're in a happy and loving relationship? We don't buy it!
Priya and Samraj
Samraj has been playing a little bit of a naughty game, after admitting he still had feelings for Mica - despite kissing Priya in bed. He's told other Islanders he thinks he might be "forcing it" with her and "getting the ick", and revealed in a recent challenge he had been thinking about kissing Mica. Thank you, next.
Mica and Tommy
See above. They're such a non-match, we can't even find a photo of them together.
Aidan and Tina
Things went from bad to worse for Aidan and Tina during the Never Have I Ever game when Aidan revealed unfinished business with Yas. "Obviously I’ve been in a few couples,” he said. “I mean if I could pick anyone here it would probably be Yas. Straight up."
Tina then kicked off, telling him "Aidan, shut up, don’t talk s***", before then getting her own back and revealing she'd rather be coupled up with Tommy or Samraj. Yikes.
