Given it's a World Cup summer and we're in the middle of a heatwave, it's hardly surprising the 2026 series of Love Island is cementing itself in the hall of fame. From endless love triangles to the icon that is Jasmine, it's safe to say it might be a cult classic season of reality TV - and we're only three weeks in.

The cast are giving it their all, and we've loved the dynamic of Aidan and his brother Kavan in there. But there was one moment in tonight's [22nd June] episode that was giving a bit of an orange flag from Lorenzo. The 28-year-old business owner from Hertfordshire is currently coupled up with Yasmin, a 23-year-old recruitment advisor from Broadstairs, and made a comment about their current relationship.

"Do you feel good about us?" she asked him, while the pair were sat by the firepit. Lorenzo replied, "I do actually. It feels a bit weird. I preferred it before, when it was chaos going on. Being on, I actually... that's how I like it. I think you should [give me chaos.]"

Chaos? You miss the chaos? Is that giving healthy-happy-I'm-in-a-good-place-in-this-relationship energy? We're not so sure - and actually, it's coming across a bit like Lorenzo might be playing a game.

As one person on X put it, "Lorenzo is only on Love Island to promote his shirt this man has never been in a relationship he is avoidant and gets bored of every girl get him out the villa."

Another put, "The problem is Love Island makes peace look boring and chaos look like chemistry," while ex-Love Islander Toby Aromolaran even chimed in to add, "He gets bored too quick, think he's done now, the chase is done."

During his time in the Love Island villa, Lorenzo has been coupled up with both Jasmine and Priya, before recoupling with Yasmin on day 13. And yet, his head still seems to be in with Jasmine - so could he just be playing a bit of a safe game to stay in right now? Eek.

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
