Love Island bombshell Halle has thrown major shade at her fellow Islanders after she was voted part of the least compatible couple and dumped from the villa, insisting it was done on popularity.

Well, it all kicked off in the Love Island villa last night, didn't it? Following a performance from Bebe Rexha, the Islanders were tasked with voting for who they thought was the least compatible couple. After Halle and Tommy, and Mica and Chidi, were picked, the Islanders were then tasked with deciding between themselves who would leave the villa.

Eventually, Halle, a 23-year-old dancer from Cheshire, was dumped from the villa, despite being one of the most recent bombshells to arrive, alongside fellow bombshell Chidi. The Islanders picked Tommy and Mica to stay, with Tommy explaining he wanted to explore his connection with Ellie instead, and Mica being an original Islander.

In her exit interview, Halle didn't hold back from throwing shade at the remaining Islanders, insisting it was done totally on favouritism, rather than who deserved to stay.

"It feels really sad because I don’t think I deserved to leave, especially not in the way that I did, because the only reason I was up there in the first place was due to my partner, not me," she said.

"It’s devastating, but I also don’t want to be somewhere I’m not wanted, and clearly, no one was fighting for me. I’d rather leave with my head held high, knowing everything I did was true to myself, than stay and have everyone be devastated that someone they didn't want to leave had gone. Everyone in there needs to remember that it's Love Island, not Friend Island. I would stick up for my friends, too. I get it, but it's just annoying."

Chidi, meanwhile, said he his exist felt "bittersweet, but I’m at peace with it."

Sending love, Halle!
