After a three-year hiatus, Ted Lasso is back for its fourth season. Many of the original cast members are returning (woohoo!), including Juno Temple, who plays public relations specialist Keeley Jones. And Juno had a very special guest with her at the season 4 premiere event on July 27: her partner Michal Szymanski.
It seems that Juno and Michal have been together since around 2022. And while they’ve been photographed together often, neither has shared that much publicly about their relationship...that is, until she finally confirmed they were married. Read on to learn more about Michal and his relationship with Juno.
He’s an actor, too.
Like Juno, Michal is a professional actor. That said, U.S. audiences likely won’t have seen his work, because he works in Poland where he’s from. His last on-screen credit on his IMDb is a 2023 crime series.
They’ve been together since at least 2022.
Juno and Michal were first photographed together in 2022 when they attended the UK premiere of Top Gun: Maverick in May 2022. It was the first of many red carpet appearances to come.
For instance, later that year, they went to the Emmys together, and they also attended the premieres of Juno’s projects, including Fargo and Venom: The Last Dance.
They’re married!
In a 2024 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Juno mentioned having a fiancé, which made for a pretty rare comment on her love life.
“My dialect coach, Liz Himelstein, did the original Fargo movie and has done every season since,” Juno said. “I started working with her while I was shooting Ted Lasso, which was interesting for my fiancé [actor Michal Szymanski]. He was like, ‘There’s a lot of people in this apartment right now—Keely, Juno and Dot.’”
Then, during an August 2026 TFI Unplugged episode, Juno finally confirmed that she and Michal were married. “I got married,” she said, adding that it was “in the last two years.”
Oh, she also mentioned that they met during season 2 of Ted Lasso, which brings us to...
They met on Ted Lasso.
A video taken at the premiere of Ted Lasso season 4 shows Juno and Michal being asked to pose for photos by the photographers in attendance. Amid photographers yelling out things like, “Juno! Right here!” someone says, “We need to check his ID to make sure he’s your husband.”
In response, Juno says, “We met on Ted Lasso!”
Later, during the TFI Unplugged episode, Juno’s costar Hannah Waddingham revealed that Michal was her driver! As Hannah explained, “[Juno] said, ‘Can I ask him on a date?’ I said, ‘Yes, you can.’ He was my driver.”
Juno added, “He was driving Hannah and they had a secret code where I could go and meet them and accidentally Hannah’s appointment would run over.”
Oh, and according to Hannah: “They are the greatest oxygen to each other in the universe.” Cuuuuute!
