Call me a hopeless romantic, but when Jimmy Sotos and Alison Ogden left Perfect Match as a couple, I actually believed they would join AD Smith and Ollie Sutherland as a Perfect Match success story. That’s why I was so disappointed when Alison announced her split from Jimmy S. earlier this month, telling fans, “We are not compatible to be in a romantic relationship, and that’s okay.”

And though the Making the Band alum was clear that reconciliation wasn’t on the table, I still had hope...that is, until Jimmy posted a series of social media videos with Love Island USA Casa Amor Bombshell Amora Cacheé Robinson. Now the question is: Are Jimmy and Amora actually dating? Let’s review the evidence.

It all began with this video posted on August 2, which showed the two lip-syncing to that cringey moment from Love Island when Sincere Rhea called Amora “big dog.” Looks friendly enough to me!

Then came a much more coupley-looking video of the two getting ready for Lollapalooza set to Coi Leray’s “TWINNEM.”

And then came yet ANOTHER video of Jimmy dancing with Amora and her friend Aniya (not to be confused with Love Island finalist Aniya Harvey).

So...what’s going on? Despite many commenters jumping to conclusions, I’m not convinced that these two are anything more than friends—but time will tell!

As a reminder, Alison revealed that she and Jimmy had split less than a month ago, sharing the news in a social media video. “Jimmy and I are no longer together, we will not be together, we are not going to date,” she told fans at the time. “We are better off as friends.”

Alison added that the breakup was “definitely not what I expected to happen, I don’t think it’s what he expected to happen initially,” noting, “I tried so hard to pursue this relationship for a long time. Ultimately, Jimmy decided that it just wasn’t gonna work out, so we ended up ending things. That relationship definitely meant a lot to me. Everything you guys saw on Perfect Match was very, very real, and I understand that everyone has questions, but there are some things in our relationship that I think are just for us to know.”
