It's always exciting when we see members of the royal family in their finest gear, all dolled up for a special event – and this year's annual Commonwealth Day service, held in Westminster Abbey (where the Cambridges said 'I do') is no exception. Whilst Prince William, Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall all very much looked 10 out of 10, Twitter has been pretty focussed in on Kate Middleton... with one photo in particular really taking centre stage.
Whilst attending the service, the Duchess of Cambridge and future queen consort looked (let's be honest) incredible in a bold azure blue coat dress, complete with matching hat and ringlet curls. The literal picture book image of a princess, if you ask us.
And whilst there are a tonne of amazing snaps of all of the family taken today, one of Kate in particular really stood out to royal fans, who have all been declaring that it looks 'fit to appear on a stamp', which is certainly quite the sentiment:
Taking to social media to reshare the image, fan Kayla Adams wrote "This photo of the Duchess of Cambridge should be put on to a stamp! #CommonwealthDay" in a tweet that has already seen over 300 likes in response.
In reply, another Twitter – and royal – fan said, "Great idea. Would also like a Duke & Duchess or Cambridge commemorative gold and silver coin collection."
A second added that Kate looks "stunning", while a third simply wrote "beautiful" after seeing the image.
Everyone's clicking on...
There's also another snap of the Duchess, taken just seconds afterwards, that we think is also more than worthy of its own stamp too (how is her skin glowing in that way? K-Mid, we're gonna need you to drop your skincare routine ASAP please):
Keen for a few more lovely new royal photos? Of course you are! Here's one of Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate all mingling and having a good ol' catch up inside the abbey:
Here's one of Kate receiving flowers from some children outside of the historic venue. Very much serving 'the people's princess' vibes, if you ask us:
And finally, here's one of the Cambridges together and Prince William earning himself some serious brownie points by stepping up for umbrella duty. Quite right too, given Kate's beaut hair style today:
Again, if you could just drop that skincare routine Duchess...
