In a bid to stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, all but critical workers (which includes NHS staff, supermarket employees and delivery drivers) have been asked to work at home where possible. And yes, that includes the Royal family.

While many of us adjust to working from our kitchen tables or attempt to fit a desk into our bedrooms, Kate Middleton and Prince William have shared a glimpse inside their home office at Kensington Palace Gardens. There's a big marble fireplace and chunky printer on William's desk, while Kate's revealed a neat line up of books.

Sadly no candid desk photos or pictures of their children - but the video of George, Charlotte and Louis clapping the NHS will suffice.

The couple shared the photos to raise awareness about the work that they’re doing with mental health organisations during this difficult time, adding that 'taking simple steps' will help us to get through this.

The caption reads, "Self-isolation and social distancing can pose huge challenges to our mental health — in recent weeks The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been in regular contact with organisations and patronages to understand the issues they are facing during this difficult time," before detailing the new guidelines that have been put in place to support our mental health.

Speaking about the new guidance, The Duke and Duchess said:

Everyone's clicking on...

"It is great to see the mental health sector working together with the NHS to help people keep on top of their mental well-being. By pulling together and taking simple steps each day, we can all be better prepared for the times ahead."

The look inside William and Kate's home office comes as Prince Charles revealed he had recovered from coronavirus, with Royal correspondent Rebecca English tweeting that, "having consulted with his doctor, The Prince of Wales is now out of self-isolation."

English went on to say she understands the 71-year-old is "in ‘good health’ and [is] now operating under the current standard government and medical restrictions that apply nationwide." Prince Charles isolated for seven days.
