Celebrity home tours often involve big mansions, with plenty of bedrooms, more bathrooms than you can count and endless added extra spaces such as screening rooms, walk in closets or an entire room dedicated to china plates if you're Kris Jenner. Which is why many fans were surprised to see Sarah Paulson's recent Malibu home tour as her entire property could probably fit into our small flats. No, we're not joking.

In a recent home tour with Architectural Digest, actor Sarah Paulson gave fans an insight into her 500-square foot trailer in Malibu. She purchased the home a year into the pandemic after visiting a friend in a similar area.

It's beautiful decorated by interior designer Amy Kehoe with rich colours, plenty of texture and wooden floors. The house has a living/kitchen area, a bedroom, a bathroom and some outside space. And that's literally all the rooms.

Fans of Sarah were happily surprised to see the size of the property, with many saying it was refreshing to see a smaller home for a celebrity.

One person commented: "Tiny homes with personality > mansions" and another said: "Nice to see something that isn't a mansion."

Another person pointed out the home showed how small properties can be just as well designed as bigger ones, "Really enjoyed this space 👏 such a great example that small spaces can be elevated, functional and beautiful all at once," they said.

It is worth pointing out that the Malibu home is Sarah's getaway property, not her main residence, but for a place she doesn't stay at all the time, it has a real homely quality to it.

The outside of the trailer is painted in a deep plum shade, with bright cushions adorning an outside seating area.

Inside, the kitchen is bright airy with white walls, wooden floors and a marble countertop. The shelves in the kitchen are dotted with coloured glassware and a few books.

In the living space there's a blue sofa with patterned cushions and a really cool wooden scalloped edge table that we are very much obsessed with.

The home tour continues into Sarah's bedroom which is covered in a dark and moody floral wallpaper, and features a custom made bedside table.

It ends with a bathroom which features a stunning pink tiled shower. Seriously, I think I could live in that shower.

So, when can we move in?
