21 pink dresses we could totally see Barbie wearing
This Barbie is... obsessed đ

If you feel like all youâve seen is pink dresses on your socials recently, youâre not alone. With the hotly-anticipated release of the Barbie movie just around the corner, and the premieres (complete with pink carpets, yes) for the film well underway, it feels like the shade is absolutely everywhere.
Donât get us wrong, pink has been the colour of the moment for a lil while now. It all started at Valentinoâs autumn/winter 2022 show, when Pier Paolo Piccioli sent models down the runway in striking fuchsia gowns and platform heels. Delicate blush and rose hues, be gone! This punky, modern take instantly shattered any girlish connotations surrounding the shade. Unsurprisingly, it didnât take long for other designer brands to take note â Versace and Balenciaga featured all-pink lewks in ready-to-wear collections soon after.
Fast forward to this year and thereâs now a whole load of pink dresses to choose from â whether youâre into the dusty Millennial pink or bright bubblegum shades loved by Barbie herself. Itâs official: 2023 itâs all about the LPD (that's a little pink dress, if you hadnât already guessed).
Struggling for style inspiration? All you need to do is have a quick Google of Margot Robbie. The star has taken her upcoming role as Barbie verrrry seriously and basically rocked nothing but pink dresses ever since the trailer dropped. We love how Margotâs styling has stayed true to the traditional Barbie aesthetic with â60s-inspired shift dresses, bouclĂ© fabrics and A-line silhouettes, but also channelled the brandâs revamp of the iconic doll 30 years later with minimal slip dresses and belted bodycon numbers.
We're firm believers that if it's good enough for Margot it's good enough for us, so we've put together an edit of the best pink dresses to wear to live out your Barbiecore fantasies this summer. Now we all we need is the Barbie Dreamhouse...
