Summer is in full effect. We’ve been waiting long enough for the warm weather to arrive, so now that it’s here, it’s time to enjoy the next few months. And that means having fun with your fashion!
For some, sunny days can be intimidating when you're trying to find the perfect outfit. Lucky for you, I’ve gathered some much-needed inspiration perfect for these hot June days. There are so many trends shaping fashion right now – from square toe sandals to balloon leg trousers – meaning, there are so many looks to try out, so start mapping out those outfits today.
A sheer dress
Summer isn’t complete without a sheer moment. It’s one of the ongoing trends we’ve seen throughout the years, and its impact is only growing. Wearing a flowy dress similar to this blue one is a great all-day summer look. Dress it down with flat sandals for day, then switch into kitten heels and add statement earrings come evening.
Capri pants and flip-flops
Capri pants are thee pants this summer. Pairing them with a simple white top and flip-flops (heeled or flat, the choice is yours) is an easy summer outfit that can work for all your plans.
Jeans and all the accessories
For those long days outside, a simple pair of jeans and a crop top is a great base. To make the look more fun, wear a scarf as a belt and add a chic bag, like this brown Telfar, to elevate the casual summer ‘fit. Balloon leg trousers and ballet trainers
We’ve seen balloon leg trousers take off, so seeing them in capri-form is sparking many ideas for me. Pairing them with a ballet trainer is a way to make the look even more interesting.

Two things are for sure: polka dots are in, and matching sets can do no wrong. Throwing on a matching set like this one is one of my favourite summer outfit ideas.

Summer may be here, but the preppy, schoolgirl aesthetic is always trending. Throwing on a pleated skirt with a comfortable trainer introduces an element of contrast to instantly make your outfit more interesting. Plus, it's a great all-day summer outfit for exploring in the warmer weather.
