1Bronwyn
Amazon PrimeI'm counting this as a season 2 death even though she died off-screen between seasons. She could have lead the Southlands but succumbed to injuries sustained when Mount Doom erupted. Her son Theo survived, and in her absence his destiny seems even more uncertain.
2Waldreg
Amazon PrimeSauron's #1 fan in the Southlands was killed by Sauron himself. He was murdered in Adar's camp in the first episode of season 2. He didn't know that Halbrand was Sauron at the time, but that's kind of a win anyway, isn't it?

3Valandil
Amazon PrimeThis one was rough. He was Isildur's friend and one of Queen Míriel's most vocal advocates and loyal supporters. He got into a fight with Kemen, the most punchable punk in Númenor, who literally stabbed him in the back when he was trying to walk away. This was a shocking moment in Episode 6 and felt like the most Game of Thrones-y moment on the show to date.
Fun fact: Isildur will go on to name his first son and heir Valandil. So at least we know he won't be forgotten.
4Daemor
Amazon PrimeElrond and Galadriel assembled a team of elves to go to Eregion and warn Celebrimbor about Sauron. Not only were they too late to warn him, but half of them died either on the way or at the destination. The first to go was Daemor, who got got by a terrifying barrow-wight (a spooky spooky skeleton) in the woods. Gone too soon! We barely knew him.

5Camnir?
Amazon PrimeThe next to go was a map maker. While Galadriel healed his injuries after the barrow-wight attack, he was MIA after Eregion. There were very few survivors, and he wasn't one of them. We'll have to wait and see if he returns. It's not like a map maker could get lost... right?
6Mirdania
Amazon PrimeOh, Mirdania. Bless her elven heart. She was a smith studying under Celebrimbor who had a lil crush on Sauron. (It happens to the best of us.) The dark lord, posing as Annatar, convinced her to turn against Celebrimbor. Then in Episode 7, he pushed her over the fortress wall using a magic flick of his wrist and framed Celebrimbor for her death. Brutal!!

7Rían
Amazon PrimeWe lost two absolute (but not literal) queens in Episode 7. At least this archer, unlike Mirdania, went down fighting.
8Damrod
Amazon PrimeI mean... the troll had to die. He was way too chaotic and got taken down by a coalition of elves in Episode 7. Sorry to this troll.

9King Durin III
Amazon PrimeThe beginning of the Season 2 finale was the end of King Durin III's story. He dug too deep, thanks to his ring supercharging his greed, and woke up the scary fire monster aka the Balrog. At least he managed to heal his fractured relationship with his son, the now-King Durin IV, before he attacked the beast and sacrificed his life. He also managed to take off his ring, which we know is not easy! It was a bittersweet redemption.
10Celebrimbor
Amazon PrimeThe elven smith, who fell under Sauron's spell in a major way, died at the dark lord's hand. No longer posing as Annatar, Sauron tortured him with arrows. Celebrimbor had to taunt him back so that he'd finally just let him die. (At one point, Sauron considered keeping him alive forever... he does become known as "the Necromancer" around the time of The Hobbit.) But the taunting worked – so even though Sauron stabbed him with a spear that ended his life, at least Celebrimbor got one small victory.

11Adar
Amazon PrimeThe leader of the orcs, who used to be an elf by a name we'll never know, was betrayed by some power-hungry orcs. They already had mutiny on the brain, and Sauron got to them immediately.
12Glûg
Amazon PrimeThe leader of that group of mutinous orcs unfortunately didn't last much longer. Glûg interrupted Sauron while he was thinking. Fatal mistake.

13This F*cking Guy
Amazon PrimeWe never learned his name, but he was giving Boba Fett. He was played by Zates Atour and apparently was "one of the gaudrim," though I only have a vague idea what that means. He said his people, the Easterlings, were once Kings. That's interesting! But I'll never learn anything more about him, because the Dark Wizard killed him while trying to make a point about how he's not a bad guy, actually.
