If you’re a fan of Take Me Out like the rest of the UK, then you may wonder where it is exactly that the loved-up (sometimes…) couples go for their first date.
The Isle Of Fernando’s IS a real place, and you can 100% go visit there if that’s your jam.
The Isle Of Fernando’s isn’t actually called the Isle Of Fernando’s, mind you – it is in fact called Puerto de la Cruz, and it’s located on Tenerife’s northern coast.
It's only a four-hour flight from the UK, and because it boasts sunny weather, it’s a popular tourism spot.
The Take Me Out couples used to stay at the fancy-pants five-star Hotel Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden. It’s got a snazzy spa, beautiful grounds and even a waterfall.
But these day, ITV hires out a private villa instead – a bit like Love Island.
As far as things to do on the Isle Of Fernando’s/Puerto de la Cruz goes, you might fancy hot-footing it to the island’s volcano, Mount Teide to watch the sun go down. There’s even a cable car service, which gives you the chance to scale that bad boy.
Oh and there’s a MEGA water Park. Siam Park is the biggest water park in Tenerife.
Or, of course, you could just kick back and relax on one of the beautiful beaches. Dreamy.
