What is Touching Evil about?

Touching Evil was a British police series drama that followed the cases and cracks in the Organised & Serial Crime Unit, who work across the breadth of the country.

Across the series they work to investigate crimes such as the disappearance of a group of young boys, a group of patients who overdose mysteriously in a hospital and a serial killer who sends reports of his murders to a local journalist.

It starred Nicola Walker and Robson Green as the main leads of the show and still holds up today as a great police drama, with one commenter on Reddit comparing it to current BBC series Silent Witness.

When the show first came out in the UK and later in the US, the New York Times spoke highly of the series, saying: "There is nothing warm and fuzzy about Touching Evil which is why the chilling series and its brooding hero are irresistibly fascinating."
