ITV's most tantalising new crime drama is here and it's already served up a stellar first episode.
Created by Matt Baker, directed by Jon Jones and produced by Megan Ott, A Taste for Murder is based on Baker's book of the same name. It's been co-produced by ITV Studios through Eagle Eye Drama and BritBox.
The six-part TV series centres around DCI Joe Mottram who's jetted off to Italy with his teenager daughter Angelica following the death of his wife, Angelica's mum.
In need of a break - set against the backdrop of some stunning real-life locations - unfortunately Mottram is given anything but. Among the Aperol Spritz and Neapolitan pizzas, the detective chief inspector ends up landing himself in the middle of not just one, but multiple, murder cases. But will he be able to get to the bottom of it before someone he loves gets hurt?
The cast features an impressive line-up of actors, including faces you may recognise from Luther to Downtown Abbey.
A Taste for Murder kicked off the other night. And if you've been left hungry for more, fear not, because you don't have long to wait for the next episode, the full release schedule detailed below.
