You may still be reeling from Love Island: All Stars, but the reality dating show is already making its way back to our screens. Series three of the All Stars version of the TV show finished on 23rd February and we've still barely recovered from all the drama.

The latest stint of the show saw a whole host of bombshells who didn't care about "stepping on any toes" alongside the simmering of historic feuds between contestants too.

The final saw Jessy and Tommy brutally dumped from the villa and ultimately Ciaran Davies and Samie Elishi became the Love Island: All Stars champions, Millie Court and Zac Woodworth following in second place.

However, before we've even had a chance to breathe following all the events of the last series, reports have already arisen that Love Island's OG version of the show is planning to return - and with a date in mind for the launch date too?!

Here's everything we know so far...

When does Love Island 2026 start?

ITV just confirmed the reality TV series is set to return on 1st June, 2026 - yes, you read that right, just over a month away. The press release read:

"Returning for its 13th series on ITV2 and ITVX, the global television phenomenon is back as Maya Jama returns as host, presiding over all the action inside the Villa.

"Heading to sun-drenched Mallorca for the ultimate game of love, a brand-new batch of Islanders must couple up or clear out as they dive headfirst into a summer of twists, turns, and tests - all in pursuit of finding a connection.

"With unexpected arrivals, shifting loyalties, and sparks flying, the new series promises even more unforgettable moments, unmissable messiness, and plenty of romance."

But who's set to take to our screens to host the latest season of the series?

Who is hosting Love Island 2026?

The Sun say producers are in talks with some of the "most gorgeous and entertaining Islanders yet because it all comes down to the cast".

However, before it comes to the Islanders, we're thrilled by the prospect of definitely knowing we'll be seeing host Maya Jama return to our screens too. But how long can we expect Love Island to be on for when it does take to our screens once more?

How long will Love Island be on for?

Love Island's latest series is expected to follow a similar format to the previous series and run for eight weeks.

This means the finale would take place around late July, so make sure to not book any holidays for around then - unless you fancy jetting out to go and watch the finals live!

If the series follows on from the last, it should run every evening from Sunday through Friday, and will be filmed in Mallorca.
