Tonight has seen the live finale of I'm a Celebrity South Africa take place as the four finalists Adam Thomas, Craig Charles, Harry Redknapp and Sir Mo Farah, join Ant and Dec in a live studio to reflect on their time in the South African jungle and watch their final Bush Tucker trials. However, just as the show was wrapping up, it was thrown into chaos when David Haye interrupted Ant and Dec's interview with Adam.
During the episode, the show screened Adam's final Bushtucker trial, which was pre-recorded back in autumn in South Africa, in which he had to eat all manner of things. Then back in the live studio in London, Ant and Dec caught up with Adam to find out how he felt about the challenge.
Ant and Dec then turned to Adam's fellow campmate Gemma Collins to ask her how she thinks she would have fared with the challenge, particularly with eating the tarantula Adam was tasked with consuming.
Just as she was giving her answer, David Haye interrupted her and asked Ant and Dec why they weren't asking Jimmy Bullard what he thought of Adam's trial.
Speaking loudly David said appearing to direct his comments to Adam: "Do you think you deserve to win this after calling Jimmy the C-word a couple of times? Do you think you deserve to win it?"
Gemma tried to stop the conversation by throwing her arms in front of Jimmy, who was sitting quietly next to her and David who was sat to her left.
Adam replied: "After the Trial, I deserve it, yeah."
Ant and Dec then tried to wrap up the conversation by telling David they would speak to him later, with Dec saying: "We'll come to this a little bit later."
David doubled down and then asked the hosting pair: "Don't you think you should ask Jimmy?"
David then alleged there was a number of clips that were "cut out" of the final transmission of the reality show, to which Ant replied: "There was a lot of stuff that was said that was unbroadcastable which is why, look, we'll get into all of this later in the show! You'll all have a right to reply."
David's comments appear to come after an alleged feud took place during filming between Adam and Jimmy.
Earlier this week I'm a Celebrity aired a Bushtucker trial challenge in which Adam and Jimmy were paired together and the stakes were high with the losing pair of the trial getting evicted from camp.
But as the trial started, Jimmy confessed he just couldn't take part and told Ant and Dec he didn't "have it in" him to take part anymore, and then called those famous words, "Sorry Ad, so sorry. I’m a celebrity, get me out of here."
With his place in the show in jeopardy, Adam shouted to his teammate: "You’re joking me bro. Jim, come on, man. Don’t do this bro! Is that how we’re going out, yeah?"
He continued: "You f***ing taking the piss? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants."
After being told to "calm down" by Jimmy, Thomas responded: "What’s up with you, bro? If you wanted to go, go – don’t take me with you. Go home in camp, don’t do it on my f**ing watch.
"What is up with you? Tell me why? All you had to do was run through some f***ing mud and you said get me out of here."
Jimmy later confessed on camera that being without teammates David and Gemma, he was struggling in the jungle. Jimmy also shared how he was missing his parents, especially his father who was ill during the filming of the show. With this in mind Jimmy then decided to quit the show and head back to the UK.
The Bushtucker Trial incident was filmed back in autumn last year, but only just aired here in the UK this week. Following its transmission, Jimmy, David and fellow campmate Sinitta have all claimed parts of the trial were cut out. Further reports claimed there were moments in which Adam called Jimmy a "c***" and allegedly kicked him.
ITV has since shared a statement with The Daily Mirror denying Adam kicked Jimmy, with a spokesperson telling the publication: "This is categorically not true. Adam did not try to kick Jimmy."
The spokesperson added: "We show an accurate and fair representation of events."
During the live finale this evening, David then interrupted again during the final few minutes of the show, when the finalists were having another chat with Ant and Dec.
This is a developing story with more details to come.
