The cooking has begun on Celebrity MasterChef, with actress Katie McGlynn one of the first celebs to step into the kitchen.
The series kicked off on Monday 17th November, with Katie competing against the likes of Ginger Johnson, Uma Jammeh, Antony Costa, and Gaz Choudry.
On Tuesday night (18th November), they'll be pushed even further as chef Karan Gokani, creative director of Hoppers restaurants, teaches them how to deliver one of his technically challenging recipes.
Soap fans will recognise Katie from Coronation Street, on which she played Sinead Tinker for seven years.

Katie McGlynn is an actress, best known for playing Jodie "Scout" Allen in Waterloo Road from 2011 to 2013, and Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street, which she joined in 2013.
Following her exit from Corrie, she joined Hollyoaks as Becky Quentin.
In 2021, she was a contestant on the 19th season of Strictly Come Dancing. She was paired with Gorka Marquez and they were the second couple to be eliminated, going out in week three.

Asked why she decided to go on on the BBC One show, Katie said: "I decided to do Celebrity MasterChef because I genuinely want to learn more about cooking. I do enjoy being in the kitchen and I love my food at home, so it's a brilliant opportunity to learn some real skills from some real experts. Plus, I love a good challenge. I might not be the best, but I'm going to try my best, so we'll see what happens!"

"In all seriousness my family always seem to compliment my cooking, on the rare occasions that I do cook for them that is!" she revealed.
"When I told them I was doing this, they strangely had faith in me which I didn’t expect. I think it's because when I put my mind to something, I hyper focus on it, and I always try my best so they’re confident I’ll get through it. I think I'm bonkers for doing this if I’m totally honest, but at least they have faith in me!"
