The Celebrity Traitors is getting so juicy. We're two weeks in and the 'Faithful' haven't managed to find any of the 'Traitors' just yet - although fans think the heat could be closing in on Jonathan Ross after a major mistake he made on last night's episode (Thursday 16th October).

Ahead of the round table, Jonathan, 64, told multiple contestants that if he was banished that they were to suspect Clare Balding as a 'Traitor'. But when Clare was banished, she was revealed to be a 'Faithful' - and viewers think that could ruin Jonathan’s game and turn the spotlight back on him.

"How is Jonathan's goose not cooked? All three others in the car on the way in have now been voted off and shown as 'Faithfuls'. And he has repeatedly called two of them liars about the alliance thing. He also told multiple people "If I die tonight go for Claire," one fan wrote on Reddit.

This is the latest in a series of mistakes the TV presenter has made since becoming a 'Traitor'.

Here's a full list of everything he's done wrong so far...

He forgot he had a shield

In week one, Jonathan won a shield during the grave digging challenge. While in the kitchen, Joe Marler (who also won a shield), said that they'd sleep well that night as they didn't have to worry about being murdered because of the shield. It took Jonathan a second to remember that he actually had one, which was very suspicious. Some viewers think Joe could be saving this for a perfect moment.

He threw Niko under the bus after forming an "alliance"

Niko Omilina was banished from the show on episode two, and Jonathan was one of the people who voted for him despite forming what Ruth Codd called an "alliance" in the car on the way to the castle. Jonathan denied that this conversation happened, however, Ruth and Clare (who was also in the car) insisted that he said it.

It turns out that he actually told Niko and Ruth that they had two "older allies" in him and Clare after saying that if they form an "alliance" with others it could work in their favour. But Jonathan doesn't seem to remember the conversation at all, which made it look as though both Clare and Ruth were lying.

Ruth was killed off (which we'll get to in a second) and Clare was then banished and also revealed to be a 'Faithful', which surely is a big clue that he's not.

Ruth Codd double bluff

While he seems to have gotten a way with it (for now), this decision might come back to bite Jonathan. After Ruth brought up the Niko "alliance" situation at the roundtable, the 'Traitors' decided to kill her off.

Jonathan thought that he could use this to take the attention off him, as it's such an obvious move. However, Joe Marler saw right through this and started telling Alan Carr - who along with Cat Burns wants to throw Jonathan under the bus.

The next "murder"

This one isn't entirely on Jonathan, and is more a clever game play from Cat and Alan to keep them safe. But at the end of episode four, the trio decided that they'd murder someone from the group that Jonathan was in during the challenge, because that group didn't know who won a shield from the other team.

This sets it up so it looks like all the 'Traitors' were in Jonathan's group, and with heat already on him, it's quite risky - added with the fact he gave Stephen Fry the shield! Even if Stephen is then banished, once it's revealed that he's a 'Faithful' surely that will be it for Jonathan.

The Celebrity Traitors airs on BBC One on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9pm.
