The only thing more dramatic than The White Lotus? Filming The White Lotus, apparently.

Jason Isaacs opened up about the "cast dynamic" while filming during a recent interview with Vulture, and explained that it was essentially like summer camp. And as anyone whose been to a summer camp can attest, there's always chaos.

"It was like a cross between summer camp and Lord of the Flies but in a gilded cage," he said. "It wasn’t a holiday. Some people got very close, there were friendships that were made and friendships that were lost."

While he didn't elaborate on which friendships were "lost," Jason said the experience was "all the things you would imagine with a group of people unanchored from their home lives on the other side of the world, in the intense pressure cooker of the working environment with eye-melting heat and insects and late nights."

And then there's this quote: "They say in the show, 'What happens in Thailand stays in Thailand,' but there’s an off-screen White Lotus as well, with fewer deaths but just as much drama."

Jason declined to share specifics, but did say "I became very close to some people and less close to others, but we still all had that experience together and there’s a certain level of discretion required."

Welp.

We genuinely will not be able to rest until someone tells me which "friendships were lost" while filming season three of The White Lotus.

Given the on-set drama, some of the cast might be feeling a lot happier now that the season has wrapped.

The finale aired last night (Sunday 6th April) in the US, with the episode available to stream on NOW and airing in the UK on Sky at 9pm.

It will see The White Lotus killer and their victim finally revealed, following weeks of anticipation.

While Gaitok is at the top of our list for who was killed off, it's a lot harder to say who may have pulled the trigger, with the likes of Gary (or Greg), Valentin and his Russian boys, and Timothy major contenders.

Watch now The White Lotus airs weekly on NOW and Sky.
