We've hit full stride on Married At First Sight Australia, having seen almost all of the couples get hitched and head off on their honeymoons. While some newlyweds seem to be a match made in heaven, others haven't had the smoothest of starts and there's been ups and downs along the way (see: two couples being paired with their exes and one off-air argument ending a marriage entirely).
Yep, there's been plenty of MAFS Australia drama to keep us satisfied over the last few weeks. And in between episodes we've been spilling the tea on the current state of all the marriages of season 12. Speaking of which, this week we'll see 'intruders' Beth Kelly and Teejay Halkias (who fellow reality TV fans will recognise from the 2023 season of Big Brother Australia) meet and marry at the altar.
So, do Beth and Teejay make it to the end of the experiment? And, more importantly, are Beth and Teejay from MAFS Australia still together? Here's what we know...
What happens for Beth and Teejay on MAFS Australia?
Beth and Teejay's wedding gets off to an anxious start with the 28-year-old bride confessing she's never been in a relationship before. Understandably, she feels nervous making such a big commitment, but all that melts away when she connects with her groom, Teejay.
The pair hit it off (like, really hit it off), gushing over each other for the entirety of their wedding day. "Beth is such a beautiful girl inside and out, and it sucks that no one's ever appreciated that," Teejay says of his new bride. "It's wild. She's never had a boyfriend, but now she's got a husband – she's skipped all the BS."
Beth and Teejay's connection is further solidified as their families bond, and a speech from the groom's father highlights their shared desire to build a happy, healthy marriage... with plenty of children. "To our new daughter-in-law Beth, we can't wait to make a lot of memories with you in them," he tells the wedding crowd. "May all your ups and downs be between the bed sheets. And hurry up with some grandbabies."
Are Beth and Teejay from MAFS Australia still together?
Whether or not grandbabies are in Beth and Teejay's future we don't know, but based on the episodes of MAFS Australia that have already aired Down Under, we have an inkling as to how their romance progresses.
Unlike a handful of the other newlyweds – some of whom don't even make it through the honeymoon period – Beth and Teejay appear to have one of the strongest marriages in this year's experiment. "We're smooth sailing. We're like two cups of still water," Teejay tells the experts at one of the Commitment Ceremonies. "From the wedding, I think we connected really well and just bantered off each other and honestly, we've just been taking the piss out of each other ever since."
To that, Beth adds: "I really wasn't expecting to click this quickly with someone."
As for how their relationship has (or hasn't) played out IRL, we're not sure the pair are still together. In contrast to Rhi and Jeff, who've been repeatedly liking and commenting on each other's social media posts since filming ended, Beth and Teejay have had no interaction online – or, at least, none that fans have clocked onto. What's more, Beth attended a Valentine's Day lunch in Melbourne with her female co-stars last month and noticeably wasn't wearing her wedding ring. Make of that what you will!
