While we've got quite some time left on season 12 of Married At First Sight Australia here in the UK, this year's show has now ended Down Under with the final vows taking place on 1st and 2nd April.

That means, all the remaining couples have made their decisions, with some calling it quits.

Jacqui Burfoot and Ryan Donnelly are one of the couples on season 12, and it's safe to say things haven't been plain sailing for the couple since their wedding day.

Guests thought Jacqui's vows sounded more like a CV for how great she is, Ryan failed to offer his jacket to Jacqui while taking photos, and he dropped her during their first dance - something she hasn't been able to let go.

Despite this, the pair are still in the experiment and giving things a go. But did they make it to the final vows? And are they still together?

Read on for everything we know about whether MAFS Australia's Jacqui and Ryan are still together.

Look away now, if you don't want any spoilers...

What happens on MAFS Australia for Jacqui and Ryan?

Meeting (and marrying) someone at the altar for the very first time is bound to be awkward – and for Jacqui and Ryan, it was just that. Their wedding day on season 12 didn't go without its hiccups as Jacqui was initially unimpressed with, err, the first impression Ryan made.

"He hadn't shaved, which is a big turn-off," she said after meeting him, going on to criticise his vows as well. "When I actually think about it, his vows were pre-written. I don't know whether he was thinking about me or some other girl in his mind. He didn't pay me many compliments that seemed real in the moment," Jacqui went on. "It felt rehearsed, if I'm being honest."

Jacqui took a further disliking to her new husband during their post-nuptial photoshoot, dropping several hints that she was cold but to no avail. Cough cough... Jacqui wanted Ryan to offer her his jacket, but in the end she asked.

"I can't make someone want to be a man. You know, either he is a man or he's not," she said to the camera in tears (side note: there's no rulebook that defines what a man is).

"There are just so many s**t men out there and I'm so sick of being single and independent. I don't want to be the one in the lead and it's hurtful when I have to do it."

Oblivious to all this, Ryan thought their wedding day had got off to a flying start. "There's a synchronicity there," he said of their connection, which he described as a "shared chemistry". Erm, is the chemistry in the room with us right now?

"I'm feeling happy," Ryan added. "She got freezing cold, so I gave her my jacket. She thinks I'm really impressive."

Things got progressively worse for the couple when they moved in together. Jacqui told Ryan not to put his feet on the bed while wearing shoes and he responded by just leaving his shoes on the bed.

Then came the photo ranking challenge, which saw Ryan placing Jacqui in third place after she'd put him first. Despite admitting to Ryan that she didn't like this, he stuck to his initial choice. Nevertheless, they stayed in their marriage and when Ryan made a comment about Jacqui at the boys' day and commented on her "crazy eyes", Jacqui appeared to brush it off.

Ryan then bought her some flowers and things looked like they were going well, until Jacqui decided to make a list of all things she wasn't happy about in their relationship and text Jeff that she wanted to talk to him. Things blew up at intruder couple Beth and Teejay's wedding, as Rhi confronted Jacqui about texting her husband.

Are MAFS Australia's Jacqui and Ryan still together?

They're not.

Despite sticking it out and making it to the final vows, the pair decided to go their separate ways at the vows.

Ryan said: "Dear Jacqui, my wife, we were wild, wonderful and weird as hell. I will never allow any person on this planet to criticise all the self work I've done, my career, finances or masculinity.

In reference to Jacqui going on a date with another potential match, Rory, while they were together, he continued: "Meeting an entertaining another single man, throwing yourself entirely into his company, even giving him your number, to my values that's the bedrock of disloyalty and disrespect. Outside this experiment, I genuinely fear the differences in our world. I fear we aren't strong enough to continue this marriage. I will be walking away from this marriage. For that and saying you have crazy eyes, I am sorry."

After thanking him for his vows, Jacqui went on to say: "Ryan, I can honestly say I gave this experience and you everything I could leaving absolutely no stone unturned. There has been a lack of romance, a lack of effort from you. I'm not a rehabilitation centre for a man. Tolerating your behaviour is isolating. The way you speak and control the people and animals you love, scares me. Ryan, you're not perfect. I don't want to be the wife to a man; I want to be the wife to a husband. So, today I choose peace and to walk away from this relationship."

For those of you who are up to date, you will know that Jacqui is now in a relationship with Clint Rice, who married Lauren Hall after her first marriage to Eliot broke down.

The couple's relationship status was confirmed in a teaser trailer for the upcoming Married at First Sight Australia reunion that will air in Australia this week and due to the scheduling calendar, a few weeks later here in the UK.
