It's happened. Once again our lives been taken over by Married at First Sight Australia and unsurprisingly we're not mad about it. The first four episodes of season 12 have aired on E4 already this week and we're beyond invested.
The show follows a series of couples who have been expertly matched and meet for the first time at the altar on their wedding day. After that they go onto have a honeymoon, move in together and meet each other's families, before ultimately deciding if they want to spend the rest of their lives together.
And one of the latest couples we've seen say "I do" is Ashleigh and Jake. But are the couple still together? Here's the tea.

What happened with Ashleigh and Jake on Married at First Sight Australia?
Ashleigh and Jake were both looking for someone with a lot of energy and matches their vibe of feeling like a big kid all the time. Luckily the experts matched them pretty well and so we were hopeful going into their ceremony. That was until Jake saw the bridesmaid and called her "stunning". Sorry but why does this need to happen on every season of MAFS?
Thankfully, Jake thought his actual bride Ashleigh was very beautiful and they instantly get on well. Their honeymoon goes well and when they move in together, Ashleigh is shocked to discover Jake has brought along his fishing vest. Well no marriage is perfect.
The couple have their first big issue during the photo ranking challenge, when Jake makes some very questionable and unkind comments about the other brides in the experiment. Ashleigh is obviously stunned to hear how her new husband thinks about women and is also pretty upset to be placed in the middle of his ranking. Ouch.
Jake then insisted it was all a "joke" and the couple got into a big argument. Ashleigh later tells Sierah and Billy about Jake's comment including the one where Jake said Sierah had a face that screams "I could stab you in your sleep" and Billy vowed to confront Jake about his words.
Billy brought it up at the next commitment ceremony and Jake tried to defend himself but Mel isn't having an any of it and tries to get him to own it.
Because of Ash telling Sierah and Billy, Jake then felt he couldn't trust her anymore and so chose to write leave. However, because Ash chose to stay it means they're meant to stay in the experiment for another week.
This doesn't quite happen though as the next day Jake chooses to leave the experiment for good, and that means it's the end of Ashleigh's time too.
So are MAFS Australia's Ashleigh and Jake still together?
Nope these two are no longer together. Following their exit from the show in week three it appears there's been no reconciliation for these two.
Honestly, that photo ranking challenge will really make or break your relationship.
