Dust off your swords, and prepare your jewels, as it's once again time to return to Middle-earth for season two of Prime Video's The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.

The second season of Prime Video's most watched series is due to hit screens this week on 29th August and will see Galadriel and the rest of the elves continue their fight against Sauron, who if you forgot from two years ago, was unmasked to be Halbrand.

When does The Rings of Power season 2 premiere?

Two years after since season one ended in October 2022, The Rings of Power is finally back on Prime Video for season two and premiering on 29th August 2024, at 8am BST.

How many episodes of The Rings of Power season 2 are there?

Just like in season one, there will be eight episodes for The Rings of Power season two and they are likely to be around the hour mark, similarly to season one.

What is the full The Rings of Power season 2 episode release schedule? When does the next episode come out?

Prime Video is treating us by releasing the first three episodes of the new season all at once on the 29th August. The subsequent five episodes will then be released weekly on Thursdays at 8am BST, with the final episode dropping on 3rd October.
