Summer has officially begun now season two of The Summer I Turned Pretty has finally dropped on Prime Video. What can we say? It just doesn't feel like summer until we see Belly on Cousins Beach, deciding between Conrad and Jeremiah.
The first three episodes of the second season dropped last week (14th July) and whilst we were not emotionally prepared for the bombshell that kicked the season off (we're still sobbing), we couldn't be happier to be back with our favourite group of dysfunctional family friends.
This season, which is so far largely consistent of flashback scenes, sees the Conklins and Fishers deal in the aftermath of Susannah's death and the very messy love triangle Belly has found herself in with Conrad and Jeremiah.
Accompanying all this very intense and emotional drama is an incredible soundtrack which really heightens and adds to each scene. As in the previous season there's also a LOT of Taylor Swift songs, which we were more than too happy to hear. From Taylor's 'Last Kiss (Taylor's Version)' to One Direction's 'Steal My Girl', there's a lot of iconic numbers in the series.
