We are hooked on Married At First Sight Australia and want to know everything about the season 10 couples. Specifically: are Lyndall Grace and Cameron Woods together?
The dating series, which sees singletons matched by experts to their partners who they then meet for the first time of their wedding day, is now in its tenth series - and there has been so much drama.
The show was filmed in Sydney in August 2022, and has already aired in Australia meaning we’re one step ahead of all the tea (so if you don’t want spoilers, look away now!), including about contestants Lyndall and Cameron.
The couple hit it off on their wedding day, looking like one of the strongest pairings in the first few weeks of the experiment. But things took a turn when they met each other's friends and families, with a certain FaceTime with Lyndall's mum causing friction.
So, are Lyndall and Cameron still together? Here’s everything you need to know.
Warning, spoilers below!
What happened on MAFSA's Lyndall and Cameron's wedding day?
27-year-old accountant Lyndall and 27-year-old carpenter Cameron were the first couple to get married on this season of MAFS Australia.
On their wedding day, they seemed to instantly connect with Cameron gushing about how much he liked Lyndall, and her feeling comfortable enough to open up to him about her cystic fibrosis diagnosis.
She bravely shared that her diagnosis meant she grew up thinking she wouldn't live past the age of 30 or so, but that a new drug meant her life expectancy had dramatically increased.
Are MAFSAU's Lyndall and Cameron still together?
Despite their smooth-sailing beginning, during homestay week when Lyndall flew out to meet Cameron’s family, she felt rejected and accused him of not being affectionate enough with her.
“Why the f**k are we together if you don't ever want to kiss me, like ever? It just doesn't make me feel like you really want to be with me,” Lyndall said to Cameron, to which he said it was “ridiculous”.
The issue caused both their mums to get involved and started a big rift between the pair, when Lyndall's mum asked Cameron to give her a hug and him saying it made him "uncomfortable". Things worsened when Cameron's mum suggested Lyndall's desire for affection was a sign of insecurity.
The couple then hit another rocky patch when they discussed their long distance future, with Cameron living in the Australian outback and Lyndall living in Perth. He suggested they may have to go weeks without seeing each other.
Despite making it to the final commitment ceremony, the final vow exchange didn't go well for the couple, with Lyndall saying Cameron didn't know how to compromise, and that she now felt like a burden.
In a historic moment, she didn't stick around to hear what Cameron had to say and walked off, saying she wanted to build a life she was proud of. "Lyndall did not hold back and completely savage[d] the poor guy. He was completely dumbfounded by it," an insider said.
According to Daily Mail Australia, communication then completely broke down between the pair following the experiment, and they are no longer on speaking terms.
So sad!
