The 64th Grammy awards are just around the corner, and everyone from Billie Eilish to Justin Bieber to Ariana Grande have been nominated for a win. But amongst the "who's going to win what?" talks, pop newcomer Olivia Rodrigo (who has also been nominated) has been gushing about who she's going to be bringing to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on the 4th of April.

Currently, the Drivers License singer is up for seven awards (best new artist, album of the year, record of the year, song of the year, best pop solo performance, best pop vocal album and best music video) and at the recent premiere of her new Disney+ film Driving Home 2 U, she revealed that it would in fact be her mum who would be accompanying her to the Grammys.

Speaking to E! News' Daily Pop, Olivia said: "My mom's gonna be my date for the Grammys. She's very excited." Aw!

"It's so surreal to think that I'm going to the Grammys in, like, two weeks. I've been dreaming about it my whole life," she continued to say.

And it's not just the prestigious award ceremony that the Good 4 U singer is getting excited about, either. Speaking about the inspiration behind Driving Home 2 U (which was released on the 25th March), she revealed she wanted to create the film for fans who were unable to get tickets to her upcoming SOUR world tour, which is set to begin on the 5th March in Portland, Oregan, just one day after the Grammys.

"There's a bunch of [song] rearrangements and some GoPro footage from inside the studio when I was kind of first making the album", she said. "I'm really excited to see it go out in the world. It's very exciting."

So, if you've not managed to snap up a ticket to this world tour (we can only imagine there'll be plenty more) you can stream Driving Home 2 U film now on Disney+.

Good luck with the Grammys, Olivia!
