Ever since Inventing Anna dropped on Netflix it's been basically all we've thought about (that and Love is Blind) and it looks like we're not the only ones. In fact, there's one character from the series who everyone is completely obsessed with, and despite her wardrobe, it's not Anna.
In case you haven't caught up yet, Inventing Anna follows the story of Anna Delvey - real name Anna Sorokin - who managed to trick some of New York's wealthiest people into believing she was a billionaire German heiress. Pretending she had access to multi-million dollar trust fund, she lived a life of luxury, full of holidays, private jets, designer clothes and nights out in the most exclusive clubs, but famously things all came crashing down and Anna's tangled web of lies was revealed.
Twitter has been full of people discussing the Shonda Rhimes series, which stars Ozark's Julia Garner in the lead role. And there's one person plenty of fans feel was the standout character from the series. The title goes to the prison officer (played by Miche Braden) in the scenes at Rikers Island (New York City's main jail complex), partly due to her character and also thanks to her Euphoria-esque eyeshadow game.
"My fave character so far! Love the glitter! #InventingAnna," one fan tweeted, and another wrote, "The female prison officer in #InventingAnna went to euphoria high."
Meanwhile one person wrote what we were all thinking, "Let’s be honest, the guard’s eyeshadow is the true star of #InventingAnna..."
Obviously, Julia Garner is always perfection, but we'd be lying if we said we weren't completely obsessed with this woman too. I mean, IMDb lists her character as 'Glitter Shadow Officer'. Truly, an icon.
