It's a good day in the land of celebrity relationships because Brooklyn Beckham has just announced his engagement to Nicola Peltz! David and Victoria Beckham's eldest son publicly confirmed the happy news today, revealing he proposed to Nicola two weeks ago.
Aspiring photographer Brooklyn, 21, shared a stunning shot of them together with his 12 million Instagram followers and wrote:
"Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby."
Nicola, 25, posted the same picture - which she revealed was taken by Brooklyn's sister Harper - and added, "You've made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to spend the the rest of my life by your side. Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby."
Just moments after the pair revealed the engagement, Victoria Beckham publicly congratulated the couple on her own IG account.
"The most exciting news! We could not be happier that @BrooklynBeckham and @Nicolaannepeltz are getting married," she wrote. "Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much."
"I love you so much Victoria, I'm the luckiest girl," Nicola replied.
The Bates Motel and Transformers star, who previously dated Anwar Hadid, and Brooklyn, who previously dated Chloe Moretz and model Hana Cross, have been together for around nine months after first being linked towards the end of 2019.
The pair, who made their Instagram debut as a couple in January, had been isolating together in New York before recently flying to the UK to spend time with the rest of the Beckhams at their Cotswolds home.
