Little Mix are all over the TV opportunities. First came Jesy Nelson's NTA-winning BBC documentary, then came news of their talent show competition, quickly followed by reports Leigh-Anne Pinnock is being eyed up for a show of her own.
And now, Jade Thirlwall has announced she's fronting a brand new cooking show, which will see her having dinner with some of RuPaul Drag Race's most infamous queens, such as Courtney Act, Alyssa Edwards and The Vivienne. This sounds AMAZING.
The self-filmed show, called Served! With Jade Thirlwall, is scheduled to premiere on MTV Digital on Thursday, May 28, and will launch with six 11-minute episodes online.
"You are invited to dinner! Join @LittleMix's Jade Thirlwall as she competes to cook up some eleganza realness with her superstar drag queen friends," MTV's announcement on Twitter read.
In the episodes, Jade will compete against celebrity drag queens to whip up a themed dinner using mystery ingredients they've been provided with, while other celebs (including the likes of Queer Eye's Tan France and actual Mel C!) will phone in to offer advice.
The cook-off will then be judged by none other than Jade's mum, Norma, and yeah, it sounds incredible. Little Mix fans are even more gassed about Served! than we are, with some taking to Twitter to write, "A pure blessing to us."
Another added, "Cannot wait, it's going to be amazing!" while a third said, "Yeeees can't wait." Other comments included:
- "OMG I LOVE THIS I'M SO PROUD"
- "It’s going to be lit she’s amazing aaaaaaaaa"
- "Omg it's going to be amazing"
Jade said in a statement (via The Sun), "I'm so excited to have some of my favourite people on board to serve you some virtual dinner party realness. I cannot wait to show you what (and who) we've got in store; it's been such a laugh to film and I hope this brings people at home some lighthearted entertainment whilst indoors."
