If you've been, oh IDK, living under a rock for the past few weeks, you'd be none the wiser to the exciting news that Sephora has now launched in the UK. Hurrah hurrah! Now, whilst we're still yet to receive an IRL store (soon come spring 2023), what we do have is an online website to shop from that launched on 17 October. *Immediately opens up a new shopping tab*.
Now, most of you may know Sephora as the US equivalent to our beloved Boots or Superdrug but in actual fact, it originated in France as a multinational retailer of personal care and beauty products. It then expanded to a variety of European counties including the UK but was short-lived with the select few stores closing over 20 years ago (R.I.P). But now, they live to tell the tale...
Thankfully, after a lot of wishful thinking (and tweets asking for it) our prayers have finally been answered and we Brits can now shop a wide range of beauty brands – including Sephora's own and many that are exclusive to the retailer – in the UK. So, if like me, you've been dying to try out the Tarte Shape Tape concealer or the entire range of Makeup By Mario, then listen up because we've rounded up the best seven Sephora exclusive brands that you can shop right now.
And once again to clarify: Brits, the following cannot be bought anywhere else in the UK, so, get adding to cart before they all sell out!
The Makeup By Mario brand was founded and is still owned by the legendary, world-renowned makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic. Name ring a bell? Yeah, well, Mario is Kim Kardashian's right hand man/MUA *collective realisation* who also launched his very own beauty line in 2020.
Of course, the collection is still thriving and we are so excited to get our hands on his uh-ma-zin' products.
Alongside making his regular YouTube videos, the video sensation that is Patrick Starrr founded the all-inclusive beauty brand, One/Size back in 2020.
