Continuum, or I'll Follow You Down as it was called in the US, is a sci-fi thriller about time travel that came out in 2013. It stars Gillian Anderson as Marika, a woman whose scientist husband Gabe (Rufus Sewell) disappears while on a business trip, leaving Marika and their son Erol (Haley Joel Osment) devastated at their loss. As the years pass the pair make a shocking discovery that could bring their beloved family member home.
Many IMDb reviews of the movie all share a similar sentiment in that the movie is slow to start off with but once it gains momentum, you can't tear your eyes away from the action unfolding. And as for the time travel aspect of the film, many praised the depiction of time travel, with one person saying: "a time travel movie I can believe in."
Reviewers also loved Gillian and Rufus' performances in the film, with one saying: "All the actors are excellent, Gillian Anderson especially." And another said: "Gillian Anderson and Rufus Sewell who both give outstanding performances."

Playing the couple's son Erol is Haley Joel Osment, who is best known for starring in Forrest Gump as a young child, even winning a Young Artist Award for his role as Forrest Gump Jr. Since then he's starred in everything from The Sixth Sense to The Jungle Book 2.
