If you're looking for an intriguing and heart-pounding series to keep you entertained this week, then we have the drama to keep your attention hooked. Now streaming on ITVX is one of David Tennant's best but possibility under-rated dramas - The Escape Artist.
The Escape Artist is a three-part mini-series which sees David star alongside Ashley Jensen, as a top barrister at the peak of his career, but all that changes when he comes to defend his latest client.
The series came out in 2013 and is easily one of our favourite roles of David, especially when he's on-screen with fellow Scot Ashley Jensen who plays his wife Kate.

What is The Escape Artist about?
The Escape Artist is about a man named Will (Tennant) who is a top barrister so nicknamed 'The Escape Artist' thanks to his ability to get his clients found innocent, and leads a charmed life - he has a beautiful wife (Jensen), a loving son and a boujie London flat.
However, his life changes when he represents Liam Foyle, who is accused of murder. While Will manages to get Liam acquitted, he refuses to shake Liam's hand at the end of the case as, despite representing Liam, he believes he did actually do the horrific crime he was accused of.
It's a big mistake and soon Liam starts to enact his revenge by killing someone very close to Will, causing Will to see things from the other side of the courtroom as his colleague defends Liam.
Over the years the show has been a favourite of David Tennant fans, with many rating it highly on IMDb. One viewer called it "one of the finest televised dramas I have ever seen," another called it "A white knuckle, tension filled drama", and another said it has an "emotional centre" for a legal thriller.
Who stars in The Escape Artist?
David Tennant leads The Escape Artist and he is of course best known for starring in some of the UK's best TV shows including Doctor Who, Broadchurch and Rivals. Starring alongside him as his character's wife Kate, is Ashley Jensen. Jensen is best known for starring in series including Ugly Betty, Extras and Shetland.
