You can always rely on a game of Never Have I Ever to bring out people's deepest, darkest secrets. From their embarrassing drunk stories to accidental family feuds, a recent round in the Love Island villa also led many of the Islanders to share that they have famous exes.

Yep, it turns out those Love Island lot actually have a story or two to tell about their exes, with many of this year's cast revealing they've either dated, or had relationships with, people in the public eye.

We've done some digging (in the name of serious journalism..) to uncover exactly who this year's batch of contestants are talking about. So, without further ado, here's what you need to know about the famous people who have dated Love Islanders before they were in the villa.

Jasmine and Hector Bellerin

Jasmine has been single for five years, but was previously in a serious relationship with Spanish footballer Hector Bellerin. The 31-year-old plays defence for La Liga club Real Betis, having started his career at Barcelona, and moved to Arsenal in 2011.

While it's not clear how long the pair were together or why they broke up, they did share some photographs together in 2021, and Jasmine has said she still has "love for him."

Priya and Tyias Browning

During the game, Priya revealed she had also dated a footballer, but she didn't know if he played in the Premiere League. "He played in Shanghai," she said, later adding, "He was from Manchester."

Fans have been doing some detective work and insist it's most likely a 32-year-old player called Tyias Browning, who follows Priya on Instagram. The professional footballer currently plays as a defender for Chinese Super League club Shanghai Port, but was actually born in Liverpool, not Manchester.

Sean and Helen Galgey

Sean said his ex was a singer during the game, and it's been revealed he previously dated RTÉ 2FM radio host and singer Helen Galgey. "Solidarity with all my sisters finding out their ex is on Love Island today," she wrote on Instagram when the line up was announced, later adding, "I think Fitzy is so good, like the first episode I was like, ‘Do something, do something’, but now I think he’s actually playing it smart.

"He’s lovely looking, and he doesn’t need to be doing all that, which I’m kind of glad. So it’s kind of cool that he’s just being chilled and laid back and, like, letting them come to him, so it’s he’s a full match."

Mica

During the game of Never Have I Ever, Mica disclosed she has been involved with a couple of NFL players and some footballers, although she didn't expand any more. Fans are wondering if Jude Bellingham's brother Jobe could be the footballer in question, given he has liked a photo of her on Instagram in the past.

Angelista

Angelista also shared that she had been on a couple of dates with footballers from both the Premier League and Championship. Fans on TikTok have been speculating that she might be talking about Chelsea and England footballer Noni Madueke, although it's slightly unclear what the evidence or link here is.
