Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez are best friends who both happen to be newlyweds, and apparently they have plans to be godparents to each other’s kids.
This intel comes from two different sources who spoke to The Daily Mail, so take it with a grain of salt, but honestly the info is very cute.
“Taylor and Selena are very close. They're like sisters,” the first source said. “For almost 20 years they've been there for each other on a personal and professional level. Selena's always been someone Taylor can trust 100 percent. They have a bond that's never been broken.”
This person added that “Taylor and Selena have agreed they want to have their babies as close time wise to each other as possible so they can bring them up together. They've essentially made a pact that they will be godmother to each other's children. Taylor and Selena are looking forward to sharing the experience of having their first child around the same time.”
Meanwhile the second source brought up Blake Lively, saying that Taylor making Selena godmother “wouldn't be done to shade Blake” and that “Taylor is very confident in her friendship with Selena and doesn't worry about having any falling out. If Selena has kids, Taylor knows for a fact that she would be close to them all forever.”
Again, grain of salt, but love the idea of Sel and Tay’s friendship naturally evolving into being mutual godmothers!
