Harry Jowsey has heard all the chatter about his wedding to Amber Mozo being “fake” and isn’t having it. The reality star hopped on TikTok to clear things up after TMZ reported that paperwork hadn’t been filed and the couple weren’t legally married.
“Let me explain how it all worked,” Harry said. “One thing to know: I’d never been married before. I don’t know how a wedding works, I don’t know the order of things, I don’t know shit. But on the day of the wedding, you show up, say ‘I do,’ have a little smooch, get the hell out of there go on a honeymoon. But this is how it went down.…”
Harry then explained that he arrived at the wedding, said hi to his friends and family, and proceeded to the ceremony. Production then “took me and Amber back up to the house” to make things official with legal paperwork.
However. “When we’re up there, that was when we were signing all the paper and all that stuff and obviously because it’s a TV show they said we can’t submit this until after the reunion,” Harry shared. “Because basically if they submitted it on the day, all the money, all the time, everything like that, everything they invested in the show would have been for nothing because it would have been ruined and you guys wouldn’t watch the show.”
Harry added that to “save the whole experience” production “held onto the paperwork. It is out there. But now you will see once the reunion is done and out there, if it gets submitted, or if it gets torn up.”
This echoes what a production source previously told TMZ, saying “We were preventing a ‘Love Is Blind’ situation” where fans look up marriage records.
So…when is the reunion? Tune in Wednesday, August 26, on Netflix to see if Amber and Harry make their wedding legal or if that paperwork is “torn up.”
