Ethan Slater and Ariana Grande secretly broke up a few months ago, and by all accounts there’s “no bad blood” and things are pretty amicable between the exes! However, apparently Ari didn’t tell Ethan that she recently reunited with her ex Ricky Alvarez, and he only just found out.
“Ariana hasn’t told Ethan specifically, but mutual friends have told him that she is now dating Ricky again,” a source tells the Daily Mail, adding that they “never crossed the line while she was with Ethan.”
“It was important to her to still be loosely in contact with him as they still had mutual friends,” the insider says. “As her relationship was ending with Ethan, she chose to reach out to Ricky more…then hang out with him more with mutual friends…and then they started hanging out alone.”
Oh, and Ricky is “very happy being back in her life and is looking for this second chance to be what he wanted the first time around.”
As for Ethan, an insider previously chatted to the Daily Mail about his and Ari’s breakup, saying “They fight, they drift apart, they get back together, they make up. She did not cheat on him. That’s just not true. Whatever has happened in her past, she and Ethan talk through things, and there’s no bad blood there.”
Another person chimed in with: “From what friends say, Ethan would have preferred the relationship continue, but Ariana has always followed her own instincts. When she’s ready to move on, she does.”
