Who wouldn’t want to rebound from a long-term relationship with a literal model? So, good for Nina Dobrev and Shaun White for both appearing to do so! After ending their engagement and five-year relationship in September 2025, Shaun reportedly began dating a model named Angela Garten, and now, reports have come out that Nina is dating a model named Dougie Joseph. Oh, to be rich and famous and have access to professionally attractive people rather than access to the dating apps!
As reported by People, Nina and Dougie were photographed together in New York City on July 11. Photos show them walking down the street with their arms around each other and Dougie kissing Nina on the cheek. These flirty pics come a month after the model and actor were seen together at the New York Knicks championship parade and after a fan submitted a photo of them together to DeuxMoi.
Also, as Just Jared notes, back in April, Dougie posted an Instagram that he captioned, “Big week of Bulgarians.” The post shows him doing Bulgarian squats at the gym…but fans also think it refers to Nina, who is Bulgarian. Sneaky!

Did I mention yet that Dougie is a model? Well, that’s one of his occupations. He’s signed by modeling agencies Wilhelmina, New York Model Management, and D’Management Group. Their websites helpfully let us know that he is 6′2″.

In addition to modeling, Dougie is a business founder. Dougie co-founded men’s skincare brand Bondi Skin Co. in 2020 with his longtime friend Chris. According to the Bondi Skin Co. website, all the products are “made from 100% natural ingredients, are vegan, cruelty-free, and sustainably produced.”

If the brand being called Bondi (like, Bondi Beach) stood out to you, you probably realized that Dougie is Australian. Judging by his Instagram, he spends a lot of his time in New York. One post from last year reads, “There’s a stark difference between the laid back lifestyle of Australia when compared with the hustle and bustle of NYC.
