There were some reports that she was living with her daughters – and even one rumour that she’d been staying with Priscilla Presley, which Priscilla’s rep said was “totally false.” Regardless, members of the royal family, including King Charles and Prince William, apparently have no idea where Fergie is, and she’s been described as “missing.”
“No one knows exactly where she is,” a source tells Rob Shuter. “And that includes the very top.”
That said, “She’s not someone who disappears for good. She always comes back. She loves London, she loves society, and she loves attention. That hasn’t changed. She’s thinking about a comeback. And she knows timing is everything.”
Despite this, the source says that “It’s unusual that even people close to her don’t know where she is. That’s what’s fuelling the speculation.”
And apparently even Fergie’s daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, don’t have all the details, with the insider adding that “There’s real uncertainty about how much Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie know. They may not have the full picture either.”
There have been whispers that Fergie could write a tell-all about the royal family, or even give an in-depth interview (though that would risk being completely and totally cut off by King Charles and Prince William).
Either way, the source says “She’ll resurface. And when she does, it will be on her terms. You can’t keep Fergie out of the spotlight. It’s only a matter of time.”
