The Princess of Wales shared a moving moment with staff at the Royal Marsden Hospital, where she underwent successful treatment following planned surgery that led to a cancer diagnosis last year.
A spokesperson for Kate Middleton shared that the future queen made the trip to the London medical site to offer up her thanks and gratitude.
"The princess wanted to make the journey to both show her gratitude to the incredible team, but also highlight the world leading care and treatment the Marsden provides," the royal rep said.
During her visit, Kate also chatted with patients to offer them words of support and encouragement, no doubt able to relate to many of the emotions and challenges they are facing.
Her visit comes almost a year after the Princess' health concerns were first made public, via a statement saying she would be stepping back from her royal duties until "at least Easter" while recovering from an abdominal operation.
The statement added, "The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate. She hopes that the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality for her children as possible; and her wish that her personal medical information remains private."

"The Princess of Wales wishes to apologise to all those concerned for the fact that she has to postpone her upcoming engagements," it continued. "She looks forward to reinstating as many as possible, as soon as possible."
Sadly, after much questioning and conspiracy theories running wild on social media, Kate went public with her cancer diagnosis in March.
In September 2024, the mother of three shared the joyful news that she had finished with treatment via an emotional video.
