Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, and Prince Harry have been living it up during their recent tour of Colombia – and while speaking on an 'Afro Women and Power' panel, Meghan gave eager members of the audience an update on Princess Lilibet. Who, by the way, is now somehow already 3-years-old! How did that happen?

Since stepping away from their senior royal roles and moving to California, it's rare for the public to see or hear much about Lilibet (or her older brother, Prince Archie, who is now 5), but Meghan was keen to share that little Lili has really come into her own of late.

Speaking on the importance of being a strong role model, the Duchess said: "So I think part of the role-modelling that I certainly try to do as a mother is to encourage our daughter, who at three, has found her voice."

She then added that as a family, they're proud of Lilibet for that.

"We’re so proud of that, because that is how we, as I was saying, create the conditions in which there’s a ripple effect of young girls and young women knowing that someone else is encouraging them to use their voice and be heard."

The Duchess also took a moment to praise her husband for playing his part in building an equal household, and revealed that Archie is also being raised a feminist, noting that it's key "that young boys are being raised to listen".

Here, here! We couldn't have said it better ourselves.
