King Charles is celebrating his 75th birthday today – with plans well underway in seeing the monarch celebrate his big day.
The King will be hosting a reception for NHS nurses and midwives, while a ceremonial gun salute will take place in many significant royal landmarks.
Charles is also thought to be hosting a private dinner amongst friends and family later on in the day (14 November) at Clarence House.
While we can expect many of ‘The Firm’ to be in attendance, Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle will not be there to celebrate.
It was previously reported in the Sunday Times that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had snubbed an invite to the intimate family meal.
However, it is now understood that Harry has not been contacted regarding the event.

A spokesperson for the Prince told Cosmopolitan UK: "In response to UK media headlines, there has been no contact regarding an invitation to His Majesty's upcoming birthday."
But the alleged frosty relations between the pair could be thawing, as Prince Harry is thought to be giving his father a phone call on his birthday.
Well-placed sources have told the BBC that Harry, who is now based in America with his family, will be putting in a birthday phone call to his father.
Alongside the celebrations and merriment, the King will use his birthday as a launchpad for the Coronation Food Project.
The project, spearheaded by King Charles, looks to create distribution hubs to connect surplus food with what’s thought to be around 14 million people struggling to afford food due to ongoing cost of living pressures.
Speaking in the Big Issue, King Charles said: “Food need is as real and urgent a problem as food waste. If a way could be found to bridge the gap between them, then it would address two problems in one.
“It is my great hope that this Coronation Food Project will find practical ways to do just that - rescuing more surplus food, and distributing it to those who need it most.”
