Congrats are in order for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, as Buckingham Palace just announced the pair are expecting their second child. Awh!

"The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother," Buckingham Palace said in a statement today, referencing the couple's son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, who was born in February 2021.

Sharing the news on her own Instagram, Eugenie posted a sweet photo taken by Jack. The photo showed little August hugging and kissing her baby bump, alongside the caption: "We're so excited to share that there will be a new addition to our family this summer."

Unsurprisingly, royal fans were delighted with the news and flocked to the comments section to share well-wishes. "What wonderful news!!" one person said, as someone else added: "Huge congratulations to you all!"

"Congratulations!!!!! So happy for you and your whole family!" a third fan wrote, with another commenting: "Oh my goodness!! Such lovely news."

In accordance with royal protocol, fans haven't been given any more details about the new arrival, but we know that they'll become 13th in line to the British throne, just one place behind August. We also know that the little one will not hold a prince or princess title, unlike Eugenie, who is the daughter of Prince Andrew. The royal baby will also be the first to be born following Queen Elizabeth II’s death in September last year.

Any guesses on what the royal baby's name will be?
