Prince Harry is set to give his first interview since the release of Netflix's Harry & Meghan series, in which he dropped a number of royal bombshells including that his brother allegedly 'screamed and shouted' at him.

The Netflix documentary raised many questions (some left unanswered) about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's current relationship with the Royal Family – something which Prince Harry is expected to discuss in an upcoming special on ITV.

Harry: The Interview will air exclusively on ITV later this week, just days before Prince Harry's memoir – Spare – is released. A promotional clip for the 90-minute interview shows the Duke discussing the strained relationship he continues to have with the Royal Family, particularly with his father and brother.

In the teaser clip, Harry tells ITV News presenter Tom Bradby that it "didn't have to be this way" and that he wants "a family, not an institution". The Duke went on to say that the Royal Family have shown "absolutely no willingness to reconcile", but that he wants to "get his father back" and to "have his brother back".

In addition to his ITV interview, Harry has also spoken to CBS. In a 60 Minute special with Anderson Cooper, the Duke claims he was the target of leaks to the press after conversations with members of the Royal Family about starting his new life overseas.

"Every single time I've tried to do it privately, there have been briefings and leakings and planting of stories against me and my wife," he told Cooper. "They will feed or have a conversation with the correspondent, and that correspondent will literally be spoon-fed information and write the story."

Everyone's clicking on...

"At the bottom of it, they will say that they've reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment – the whole story is Buckingham Palace commenting," he alleges.

The Palace is yet to respond publicly to the contents of Prince Harry's interviews with ITV and CBS, and Cosmopolitan UK has reached out for comment.

Harry: The Interview is available to watch on ITV1 and ITVX at 9pm on 8 January.
