Little Prince Louis is set to join other members of the royal family on their traditional walk to St Mary Magdalene Church on Christmas Day.
It's an annual tradition for the royal family to spend Christmas at Sandringham House, and this year it looks like four-year-old Louis could be stepping into the limelight with them.
The walk begins at Sandringham House and finishes at St Mary Magdalene Church where the family attend the morning service. During the 300-metre public stroll, the royals meet and greet crowds of people who line the route to the church.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George made their Christmas day debut in 2019, greeting royal fans with smiles and hugs. We can only imagine if Louis makes his first appearance this year, the young royal will win the hearts of the nation once more, much like how he stole the show at the Queen’s Platinum jubilee with his mischievous antics and hilarious facial expressions.
The Prince and Princess of Wales later made light of the situation too: “We all had an incredible time, especially Louis.”
Walking to the church would be a big milestone for Louis, but the final decision as to whether he joins his family will not be made until the day itself.

The family have celebrated at Sandringham since 1988, but due to Covid-19, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated at Windsor in 2020 and 2021. Returning to Sandringham this year, things will look very different.
The family will mark the first festive period since losing Queen Elizabeth II. But hopefully, Prince Louis joining proceedings will give a fresh lift to the day, as he joins his siblings, Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, seven.
In light of Christmas being different this year, the royal family has paid multiple tributes to the late Queen in the lead up to the festive period. Recently, Kate Middleton made the thoughtful decision to add Paddington Bear decorations to the Christmas tree during her second annual carol service.
Similarly, King Charles III is expected to honour his mother, the late Queen, as he makes his first festive speech. His public speech will make history, as the King will be the first male monarch to address the nation on TV on Christmas Day. It is also rumoured that Charles will address the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the speech, following their Netflix show, Harry & Meghan.
