Following the mic drop that was Netflix's Harry & Meghan documentary, the Royal Family put on a united front last night at a Christmas carol concert in central London.
Royals including King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice all arrived at Westminster Abbey with beaming smiles just hours after the second instalment of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's documentary landed on Netflix.
Volume II of the much-anticipated series included just as many bombshells as Volume I, such as Harry's claim that William 'screamed and shouted' at him as well as the family's apparent reaction to Meghan doing the royal job "better than the person born to do it." The Duke of Sussex also accused The Firm of "institutional gaslighting" as well as "planting" stories in the press.
But none of that seemed to phase the royals last night, particularly William who stood up in front of the 1800-strong crowd to talk of "togetherness" – how apt!? The Prince of Wales said at Christmas he is always "struck" by the "spirit of togetherness" and that "love and service" should remain at the "centre of our lives".
According to reports, William's speech was not intended to be a response to the contents of Netflix's Harry & Meghan series, because the reading had been planned well ahead of the documentary's release.
The Palace is yet to comment on the Harry & Meghan documentary.
Volumes I and II of Harry & Meghan are available to stream now on Netflix.
