It's been a while since we last saw little Prince Louis, the youngest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, but it seems like he's certainly had a growth spurt since his last official birthday portraits (taken by the Duchess of Cambridge) were shared. Yep, eagle-eyed royal fans have just spotted a new snap of the youngster, which was on display in Windsor Castle as the Queen recently carried out duties and chatted to army and navy officials.

Photos were shared of Her Majesty meeting with Rear Admiral James Macleod and Major General Eldon Millar during an in-person audience, and in the background, a never-before-seen photo was on display.

In the image, sat next to a pot of daffodils, several of the Queen's great-grandchildren can be seen in happily bundled in together while sat on a sofa – and it definitely looks like Louis isn't the only one to have had a major growth spurt! It's thought that as well as Louis and his siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the portrait also features Lady Louise, Mia, Lucas and Lena Tindall, and Isla Phillips (Princess Anne's son's daughter), plus Her Majesty.

Here's the snap of the Queen in full:

And a zoom in the great-grandchildren, with Louis thought to be sat front left on the sofa. Look at those long legs!

Over on Twitter, many royal fans are discussing a) whether or not the photo will be shared with the public on a less *blurry* scale at a later date and b) if so, when that might be. After sharing the image and tagging who she thinks is who, royal watcher Kayla Adams tweeted: "This photo was in the background of the Queen’s engagement today… What do we think? 👀"

Everyone's clicking on...

One suggested in response that the picture may have been taken by the Duchess of Cambridge, who we all know is a dab hand with a camera and a fan of capturing special family moments, in order to afford the royals greater privacy. "Looks accurate with the ids. We know Cambridges, Phillips and Tindalls normally all go to Balmoral the same week. I wonder if Kate took the photo?"

Another chimed in with, "We love it. I hope the Palace will release an updated Jubilee photo of the Queen with her great grandchildren."

A third said, "We need this in high resolution. Not often do we get to see new photo of the Queen with her great grandkids. And Louis is so big! 🥺" while a fourth chimed in with "Louis growing like a weed 😣 still expect him to be a babe in arms"

Fingers crossed we'll be lucky enough to see a high-res version soon!
