Anyone else just utterly obsessed with the royals doing normal things? Remember when Kate Middleton took her children on a museum day trip during half-term? Or when Prince William shared his love of a cheeky Nando's? Well, this just in: the Cambridges have been spotted out and about with their new puppy.
Yep, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge (who recently celebrated ten very happy years of marriage by sharing a video of their family frolicking on the beach) have been caught walking with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
However, given that they are part of the Royal Family, their stroll with the puppy wasn't exactly your average jaunt, as they were heading over to a helicopter. Casual. All of which was captured on video by Instagram user Elle Kay (known as @hermesluv), who shared the accompanying caption: "Stroll through the park led to a lucky sighting of Prince William & Kate, 3 lil ones, & a 🐶! (Friday, 7 May, 2021)."
In the footage, Prince William and Kate Middleton can be seen guiding their children towards the waiting helicopter, with a very bouncy black dog following them. Kate looks to be holding a cream or white bag, George is wearing a blue jumper and little Louis held onto his father's hand throughout. How sweet!
Along with making the time for a day out with their children, the Cambridges have also been incredibly busy expanding their presence on social media, having recently become the first senior working royals to start their own YouTube channel.
The launch of said channel also coincided with the couple changing their Instagram handle from @KensingtonRoyal to @DukeAndDuchessOfCambridge, in order to keep things uniform. A fun 'welcome' video was also shared last week, featuring a behind-the-scenes blooper from the couple.
Everyone's clicking on...
Also in the Land of All Things Royal, a video of the Queen speaking on camera for the first time since Prince Philip's sad passing has been shared. In the clip, Her Majesty fondly recalls the time she spent as a teenager training to be a lifeguard. Who knew?
As always, we'll be keeping a close eye out in order to bring you the best royal updates. Reckon the Cambridge's puppy will have a star turn in a YouTube video soon? Here's hoping!
