Because preparing to become first-time parents clearly isn't stressful enough, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided they'd throw an entire house move into the mix, too.
With Baby Sussex due in a matter of weeks, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been planning to move house from where they currently live, Nottingham Cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace, to Windsor.
Frogmore Cottage, the very misleading-sounding name of Meghan and Harry's new home (it's got five en-suite bedrooms and a yoga studio, it's hardly a cottage), has undergone major renovations ahead of the couple's relocation over the past few months. But due to the extent of the work to turn it from divided staff quarters into a functional family home, their move-in date was delayed.
Despite fears their house might not be ready ahead of the birth of their first baby at the end of the month, ITV News' Royal Editor Chris Ship revealed Kensington Palace confirmed Meghan and Harry have now made the move to Windsor.
The Sussexes' relocation signals the physical split of households from Prince William and Kate Middleton, which was announced last month. The families are parting ways due to differing future roles within the royal family; William will one day become the Prince of Wales and then King, whereas Harry and his family will take a slightly more back-seat role due to being further down the line of succession.
Earlier this week, Meghan and Harry's new Instagram account was announced, and their newly hired team of staff will now be setting up office in Buckingham Palace, finalising the household divide.
Everyone's clicking on...
So the brothers and their families have now split personally, in their homes, as well as professionally. Is it weird to feel a bit sad about it?
