20 reasons you absolutely need to buy new clothes

1. I'll wear it with EVERYTHING

It's the top that will go with your jeans, your work trousers, under that summery dress, with a leather jacket, a sleeveless waistcoat, heck, if you wanted to, you could even wear it in bed. It'd be rude to the rest of your clothes NOT to buy it.

2. I can dress it both up and down

Getting double the wear out of something really does make its purchase justifiable. 

3. It's just SO on trend

Everyone else has a suede skirt, so you should have one, too.

4. It's in the sale

At £40 that dress was pretty ugly, but with 30% off, you can suddenly see its benefits!

5. I can always take it back

Deciding in the shop is just SO stressful. I'll buy it, take it home and I can always bring it back if I don't like it... I never will.

6. It's an investment piece

You'll basically be able to wear it for the rest of your life. That's GREAT cost-per-wear.

7. It's a classic, it'll never go out of fashion

(Another way of phrasing the above).

8.YES I have 20 pairs of high heels, but not in that colour! 

So really, it's like a whole new shoe.

9. I won't buy lunch for the next week

Who cares if the jumper is £30, just pretend you'll save the money elsewhere and all that guilt evaporates

10. I NEED something new because I have a wedding/interview/birthday/ (delete as appropriate)

It's not YOUR fault you've been invited to an occasion that requires, no, demands a new outfit.
